Check your dateA live mini doughnut station is a staffed dessert station set up inside your venue. Guests come to the station during your event, choose their toppings and sauces, and are served warm mini doughnuts to order. Oh My Doughnuts operates these stations for weddings, corporate events, private parties and festivals across Ottawa and Gatineau.

What makes a live station different
A traditional dessert table is set out before guests arrive and slowly disappears over the evening. A live station is the opposite: it stays staffed, it stays warm, and it becomes a place people go rather than a plate they pass. That difference is the whole point, and it is why the station usually ends up in photos.
Service is portioned and continuous, so the last guests in line get the same experience as the first. Our team handles the queue, the toppings and the flow so nobody on your side has to manage it.
What guests experience
Guests approach the station, choose from the toppings and sauces you selected in advance, and are served a portion right there. It gives people a reason to move around the room, and it works well during the lull between dinner and dancing or between conference sessions.
It also handles mixed crowds well. Portions are small, so guests who are already full still take one, and children treat it as the highlight of the night.

Indoor and outdoor setups
The station runs indoors and outdoors. Indoors we need a level spot, access to power and a clear path for guests to line up without cutting across the dance floor. Outdoors we need the same, plus cover from rain and wind, which most venues solve with a tent or a covered patio.
Share your venue and floor plan when you enquire. We will tell you exactly what space and power we need so your coordinator can slot us in early.
How the day runs
We arrive ahead of your service window, set up and style the station, and are ready before the first guest walks over. Service runs for the agreed window, and we pack down cleanly afterwards. Our team stays with the station the whole time.

FAQ
Live doughnut station questions
What is a live mini doughnut station?
It is a staffed dessert station set up at your venue. Guests come to the station during the event, choose toppings and sauces, and are served warm mini doughnuts to order rather than taking them from a pre-set table.
Can the station operate indoors?
Yes. Indoor setups need a level area, access to power and a clear approach for guests. Share your floor plan and we will confirm the space required.
Can the station operate outdoors?
Yes, with cover from rain and wind and access to power. A tent or covered patio is the usual solution at outdoor venues.
How long does the station serve for?
We agree on a service window with you in advance and staff the station for that entire window, then pack down afterwards.
How much space and power do you need?
It depends on the setup and the guest count, so we confirm the exact requirements once we know your venue. Send the venue name and floor plan with your enquiry and we will give you the numbers your coordinator needs.
Is a live station different from a dessert table?
Yes. A dessert table is set out in advance and left unattended. A live station stays staffed and serves warm portions throughout your service window, which is what makes it an experience rather than a plate.
